Greg Browning is the Senior Vice President
of Sales and Marketing for Technicolor Enterprise Services,
formerly known as Convergent Media Systems. Greg has
more than 25 years experience in satellite communications.
His expertise covers most aspects of integration and management
of complex satellite video networks, materials management and
distribution, and customer service.
Since joining Convergent in 1987, Greg has held senior and executive
management positions, leading efforts to implement and support
more than 50,000 satellite-receive sites for Business Television
networks. His most notable accomplishments include:
- Negotiation and management of a multimillion-dollar contract
with Hughes to provide distance-learning solutions to federal
and civilian agencies and operate 36 channels of government
programming under a GSA contract
- Engineering expertise for the deployment of some of the largest
and most complex satellite video networks in the world
- Negotiation and management of a joint cooperation agreement
with Deutsche Telekom for the global expansion of Business
Television networks for Convergent Fortune 500 clients
- Implementation and continued support of the award-winning
Advance Auto Parts 2,000 site in-store television network that
delivers video programming directly to customers
Before joining Convergent, Greg was an applications and mechanical
design engineer for Scientific-Atlanta.
